My story Cure-all will appear at Flash Flood Journal at around 22.00 on 16th May 2012.

and that’s not all 🙂

I have the great honour, in celebration of this day, to be one of the selected contributors to Twisted Tales, an anthology by Raging Aardvark. My good friends John Ritchie and Angela Readman coincidentally also have a story there so be sure to read those as well. In fact these are short stories – and they are all outstanding (if I say so myself) so read them ALL! 🙂

My story is called A Peel. It is online for 48 hours and thereafter it may be downloaded FREE of charge here and a pdf. Anthology is coming out at the end of this month. It is published by Ether Books under what is a new genre for them Twisted Tales. I’m glad I to be part of that and look forward to placing more stories at Ether.

National Flash Fiction Day is being celebrated for the first time in the UK and has been adopted around the world in a buzz of excitement.

Raging Aardvark Publications is delighted to present Twisted Tales, an anthology celebrating Flash Fiction. These short, sweet snippets of stories have the ability to tempt the imagination, tantalise a reader and pose questions, form the heart of a great flash fiction.  Twisted Tales was born out of the need to showcase Flash Fiction in its own right and a desire to present writers whose first love lays within the short story.

Far too long has society been indulged with the excessive word count. Annie (and Oonah) believe that it is time the short story and all its derivatives demand their rightful place back into readership.

It is filled with a mixture of stories, some which will make you think, others smile and tales which will have you reaching for your security blanket.

Twisted Tales includes both established writers alongside emerging authors.

The successful contributors to Twisted Tales will be showcased on ether books as a separate genre. They will be free download and its hoped that  other writers begin to submit to this subsection of short stories.

Meanwhile, over at The Pygmy Giant they have a competition winner today 🙂 and last but not least my oldest firends Every Day Fiction celebrate Flash Fiction Day with another great story and stuff that’s going on and HERE just for a laugh is Jonathan Pinnock who kind of inspired me to write Cure-all!

All in all, this is a great day to READ!
